Unleash the Beast within. Taking the design of your 2008-2022 Dodge Challenger to the next level is BMC Extreme Customs' performance Ram Air Hood called the Beast. Bigger always means better with this hood. The massive true ram air scoop grabs the air and pushes it through for an increase in airflow and horsepower in highway speeds. The scoop collects so much air it has an insert with the support that we designed and implemented into the hood for a finished OE style finish. Not wanting to stop there, BMC utilized the design to add clearance for the largest surchargers. So whether you are cruising on an SXT, wanting to add a supercharger to the Scat Pack, or upgrading the supercharger on your SRT Hellcat Demon, this hood has what you want.
This fiberglass hood requires prep, prime, and paint. But due to BMC's use of a vinyl-ester resin system that exceeds the quality demands of the automobile industry, this means shrinkage and heat distortion are nonexistent. Additionally, the resin is easily dispensed into a laminate allowing for even consistent fiber compacting and air dispersal, so less prep work is required than most aftermarket hand-laid fiberglass hoods.AVAILABILITY

DO THE HOODS SHIP 'PAINT READY'? The hoods do not come primered like OEM Hoods. BMC's Challenger Beast hoods will arrive sealed in a premium quality gel coat. We recommend sanding prior to applying primer and paint. Click here for installation and prep instructions!
HOW DIFFICULT ARE THE HOODS TO INSTALL? BMC makes it easy! Disconnect the struts, wiper nozzle tubing and engine compartment lamp. Unbolt the hood from the hinges and remove the hood from the vehicle. Remove all stock hardware from the stock hood and re-install onto the BMC Hood. The Challenger has multiple adjustment points (e.g. latch area and hinges) to assure a perfect fit. We strongly recommend pre-fitting your new hood prior to painting. This will greatly reduce the chance of marring the hood once it is painted.
WILL WATER GET INTO THE ENGINE THROUGH THE RAM AIR SCOOP? BMC's manufacturing has developed an effective water management system for all our Ram Air hoods to prevent any water that enters the scoop from making it to the intake. The water is ultimately directed weep holes that allow the water to exit the hood away from the intake and engine.
CAN I RE-INSTALL THE STOCK HOOD LINER ON THE NEW HOOD? It is possible but you would need to modify it to make it work. BMC Hoods do not require a hood liner. The primary purpose of a hood liner is to protect the paint from engine heat. The double walled construction of our hoods, combined with the natural ability of fiberglass to dissipate heat offer more than adequate protection.
